Enjoy your day in one of the most beautiful energy vortexes in Quebec and visit Holy places dedicated to the historic Gautama Buddha:

1) The Lumbini Garden where the Buddha was born;
2) The Boddhigaya where the Buddha achieved enlightenment;
3) The Deer Park where the Buddha started to teach His five disciples about the four Noble truths;
4) The Kusinara where the Buddha achieved Parinirvana.

We can visit the main temple with 1000 Buddhas, the big statue of the Shakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha, Avalokiteśvara, and Maitreya (the future Buddha), Vajrapani Bodhisattva (protection), Kwan Yin and many other amazing places on a 1000-acres property.
Program:
10:00am – Arrival (parking is free and entry is free), enjoying the energy,
10:30 am- 12:30 Walk in Nature, Meditation at the Kwan Yin place for wish-granting, and at the symbolic Bodhi Tree where the Buddha reached his enlightenment.
Please, bring water. The Monastery may offer lunch for $10 / person. You might have your food only outside of the Monastery. Check if we’re having a picnic at 1 pm at Auberge Val Caroll, 50 Val-Carroll Road, Harrington, Quebec, J8G 2S6.

Feel free to bring offerings to the Buddhas like incense and flowers.
Dress code: please, wear long pants, a dress or skirt to cover your legs, and cover your shoulders with a shirt. Please, no shorts, short skirts, or sleeveless tops. Please, wear a warm jacket, 10 Celsius.

Please, plan your arrival at 10:00 am, as we’re leaving the base at 10:30 am for a walk in nature, and you may not find the group later. If you arrive later, go to the top of the hill to the large white statue of Kwan Yin.

  • Meditation cushion or a blanket
  • Notebook and pen
  • Springwater
