Introduction to Phowa, an online class, about the transference of consciousness to a pure land at the time of the physical body death. We’ll learn about the Amitabha Pure Land, and talk about the possibilities of enlightenment at the time of transition. The students will get familiar with the vocabulary and stages of dying, based on the Tibetan Buddhist philosophy. The student is encouraged to get the Phowa empowerment from the Tibetan Lama, after the Introduction to Phowa.
